Configuring function permissions and access rights

NABD provides you with the ability to assign permissions to a specific function within NABD.

You can assign access to specific functions (e.g., sending correspondence, global settings, adding follow ups, etc.). You can also assign access rights (add, edit, delete, print, or view).

To configure function permissions and user access rights:

  1. From your left main menu, select Admin.

  2. From Admin page ,within Security section.

  3. Scroll to Authorization.

  4. From the Authorization menu, select Permissions.

  5. On the Permissions page, click Add.

  6. Select the domain type from the drop down you can select from All, Organizational Unit, Role, User Group, and User.

  7. Based on the domain type you select you can select All, User ID, specific role, specific user group, and specific organizational unit.

  8. Select the function you want assign to this domain from the drop down. You can select from any of the functions you have set up in NABD. The picture below shows just some of the functions available:

  9. Check the access rights you want to assign you can assign all or Any combination of Add, Edit, Delete, View, or Print.

  10. Select the authorities you want to assign. NABD provides you with the flexibility view all information or specific information based on organizational unit and levels. You can also select specific organizational units, user groups, employees, and roles.

  11. When you're done, click Save.



    These function permissions and access rights are now active in NABD.
