Resetting and changing user passwords

As administrator, you can change and reset all NABD user passwords via the Security menu. In addition to creating a new password, NABD can automatically generate a new password for you as an added security feature.

To reset individual user passwords:

  1. From your left main menu, select Admin.

  2. From Admin page ,within Security section.

  3. From the Security section, select Reset password.

  4. In the Reset Password window, click the Edit icon next to the e-mail address you want to reset (look under the Options column). If you don't see the user listed here, you can use search to find the user.

  5. On the Change your password page, enter the new password and also type it again to confirm it.

    Another option is to let NABD create a unique password for the user. Click Generate and NABD will automatically generate a new password. Once you click Save, the new password will be sent to the user via e-mail.


  1. When you're done, click Save and close.



    Once you click Save and close, this user's password has been reset. The next time this user logs in to NABD, this new password will be required. Be sure to notify the user of this e-mail password change.

 

To change your password:

  1. From your left main menu, select Admin.

  2. From Admin page ,within Security section.

  3. From the Security section, select Change your password.

  4. On the Change your Password page, type your old password in the current Password field, then type your new password in the Password field. At last type it again to confirm it.  

  5. Click Save.



    NABD will require your new password the next time you log in.
